    so I just had that same issue, and I have an external screen but I unchecked the "Retina display' in sims settings and it appears to work as of now

@Bluebellflora I have the same stats as @reannetamia with the exception of the 16gb memory. This issue appeared after the last (April 18) update. And now that she mentioned, I can either not save the resolution in full screen or cant even select another resolution because the drop down menu is empty.

I contacted Apple’s char support yesterday and they told me that it’s a dev issue on EA’s end.

Yeah. I think judging by the amount of discussion threads on their forums, and on Reddit and other places, it's an Apple problem with the OS and displays rendering properly and has been an ongoing problem ever since the silicon Mac minis were released. But hopefully QV will see this and look into it.

Does it happen in windowed mode or just fullscreen?

    @Bluebellflora it happens only in fullscreen mode.

    & that's so weird as I've never had resolution issues before until I updated to the latest patch on The Sims
