I mean how big in file size is it? Click on the Sims 4 Packs folder once then go to File > Get info to get the file size.
Weird about Origin. Can you set up a new user account on your Mac and try to open Origin in that account? I think Origin is the issue, not the game.

Super sorry for the late response! I just made a new user account and downloaded origin again (I had it uninstalled again after it didn’t work the second time.) It’s working smoothly, but I’m unsure if anything has changed because it only became glitchy after running the sims, which I no longer have installed. Should I try to install it under the new user account?

Yes, that would be great to test 🙂 If you can, and you don't have any other Origin games installed, change the install location of your game to the main Macintosh HD Applications folder. In Origin go to Installs & Saves and change the location of the game library location. Otherwise the default location is the User account Applications folder.- 6 years ago
Okay, so I changed the download location on origin and I'm currently downloading Sims 4 and testing that on my main user account. If that fails, I'll try again on my secondary account, lol. I'll update you asap, thank you so much for all your help!
