Yes, I looked in my Sims 4 folder and I don't have any crash reports at all as my game does not crash it continues playing but the picture is frozen and i force quit the game. I have a MacBook Air 15inch, 2023 M2 Chip 8GB, and it is updated to Sonoma 14.1.
Yes, I understand about the freezing. Sometimes this will produce a crash report which is why I'm asking.
Enable vsync and edge smoothing, disable Origin in-game.
Do you play with Mods? If so move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop and re-launch the game.

Of course! I haven't seen any crash reports. Does it show up in a crash file or something? I also don't play with any mods. I recently just downloaded the game and restarted everything because I went from a PC to a Mac but I just started over rather than copying the game over. How do I disable origin in-game?

lastCrash.txt file in the Sims 4 folder.
Disabling Origin in-game https://bluebellflora.com/2017/12/23/disable-origin-in-game/
Let me know if that combination stops the crashing.
When you say started over, you're not playing any previous saves or have any contents from your previous Library folder?
Are you using the in-built Mac display or an external display?- 2 years ago
I am using the internal mac display. I started over from scratch so a whole new game. I had the disk on my old laptop. I didn't copy anything over. I used the same origin account but created a whole new game. None of my old games showed up. I wanted to start completely over and thats what I did. There are no previous saves anywhere.
