@BMWG12, did you try not only moving just your CC folder, but the entire Sims 4 folder to your Desktop? Sometimes just moving the one or two folders does not fully correct the problem. You should always move the entire Sims 4 folder to allow the game to fully generate a new folder as something may be corrupt in the old one.
Also, did you try to reset your game or reset Origin itself?
Here is the thread on some additional steps to try to resolve your issue.

Hey I tried doing everything and even re-installing sims 4 but my game makes my Mac OX zoom in and sims 4 just crashes. Thanks for your help, this is so frustrating! I am using Mac OS Mojave.

Also I tried re-installing origin as well. And I am getting the same issue still. Interesting, when I launch sims my mac OS zooms in on the desktop. I tried taking a screenshoot but it looks normal right here. Just imangine my desktop zoomed in and blurry after I start up sims 4. Can anyone help me? It's almost been a month with this issue! ☹️

The zooming in is probably to do with the resolution you have the game set to. Can you enable windowed mode, instructions here - https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/playing-the-sims-4-in-windowed-mode/
Can you also please disable Origin in-game and see if that helps with the crashing - https://bluebellflora.com/2017/12/23/disable-origin-in-game/- BMWG127 years agoRising Rookie
Hello, so I decided to launch the sims game again. What I find interesting is that I get the color wheel appearing on my mac, then after 15 seconds or so Sims 4 launches fine. I wonder why it's doing that the game usually launches almost instantly. Thank you for your help though.
