Mac: Sims 4 Not Responding At Start Up

The zooming in is probably to do with the resolution you have the game set to. Can you enable windowed mode, instructions here - https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/playing-the-sims-4-in-windowed-mode/
Can you also please disable Origin in-game and see if that helps with the crashing - https://bluebellflora.com/2017/12/23/disable-origin-in-game/

Hello, so I decided to launch the sims game again. What I find interesting is that I get the color wheel appearing on my mac, then after 15 seconds or so Sims 4 launches fine. I wonder why it's doing that the game usually launches almost instantly. Thank you for your help though.
