[MAC] Sims 4 Won't Load Up/ Hard Drive Tut NEEDED

It sounds like your issue is Mods, not the hard drive although if this is your drive it is simply not fast enough to be used for the game - https://www.amazon.com/Portable-External-HDD-USB-360-Super-Transmission/dp/B0B2JQQKST?th=1 (I couldn't find an SSD, only HDD from your description)
