Hi, I’m experiencing a severe memory leak issue after the latest game update. My system consistently runs out of application memory, and the "Force Quit" menu shows The Sims 4 consuming over 140GB of RAM.
System Details:
Issue: The game becomes extremely laggy shortly after launch and eventually freezes my entire system, forcing me to hard restart my Mac.
Can you please provide the information i have already requested? It's difficult to help without any further info.
I am having almost the same issue. After the last update, I cant create new sims, or manage the world. It crashes and gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to HARD quit it. IDK what do to..
Could you post a screenshot from Activity Monitor showing this memory usage? Make sure you have it sorted by Memory in the tabs at the top and sorted by Memory, not Process Name. Please post the whole screenshot so the memory stats at the bottom of the window are also visible.
