I managed to get my sims working again. But it was difficult. I first had my game repaired several times but nothing helped. So I saved my mods and recordings to an external hard drive. I deleted my sims 4 folder from my mac then launched a game, which created a new electronic arts folder in which I put my mods. I really thought I was going to lose everything. Thanks for the update
