I also can't get my sims 4 to work, which I've had for years. The game just acts like it's loading but never actually comes up. Any idea what the best trouble-shoot for this is? I've uninstalled and re-installed Origin and even tried turning off my mods to see if it helps, and it doesn't.

I purchased the new MacBook Air M1 and it runs the Big Sur 11.0.1. I downloaded Origins yesterday and originally had difficulty downloading my other Sims 4 expansion and game packs. I called the Tech Support and they had me to uninstall the game and reinstall. Everything was working fine until my game crashed during CAS and alert popped up saying my Origins app "has not fully installed". I called Support and spoke with 3 different people they all kept saying that other users are experiencing this issue. One of the support reps gave me the www.dm.origin.com/mac/download link and this error pops up when I tried to open the application. The issue is no one has my account nor is there another computer running this. Can you please help? Do you know when they will release an update to the Origin app? I really want to play my Sims I haven't played in an over a year since my last MacBook was from 2011 and The Sims 4 updates did not support my operating system.
