Main menu freezing after I see my mods list- Mac

UPDATE:  The Issue appeared to be with an AD from the sims. Every time I would load in, EA would try and give me an AD. I fixed this by removing my mods folder from my sims 4 folder & then I loaded in, got rid of the AD. played a normal game with no CC or mods for a few minutes and I exited the game, put my mod folder back in & it was fixed. Hope this helps anyone who needs it :)

Hello-

I’m trying to play, but when I load into the game & acknowledge my mods & cc menu, my game freezes. I did just download a bunch of CC & thought maybe that was the issue, so I removed those (all my other CC was fine a couple of hours ago) & that didn’t help.

I tried repairing the app through EA & that didn’t help

I tried clearing to localthumbcache & that didn’t help

I tried restarting my Mac & that didn’t help

I attached a picture, but you can’t really tell it’s frozen (that light grey screen freeze thing), but if you look at my mouse, it’s on load game & the interaction isn’t working 

if you have any idea what to do, it would be so appreciated. Thanks!
