Mods are not showing up on Sims 4 despite doing EVERYTHING

PLEASE HELP !

I have the Sims 4 and I have been trying to add some Mods to it, however they are not showing up anymore! Two days ago I only installed the famous "Slice Of Life" mod and it was working perfectly for me, however today it isn't showing up, although everything else in the game is working perfectly (no error codes) and both check boxes within the game about mods and cc are enabled. I have checked that I have not accidentally put it in the wrong folder and I have even completely uninstalled and installed the Sims 4 plus I deleted all the mods and redownloaded them. I have even deleted and recreated the mods folder and still nothing! I have also tried switching off icloud drive but that also didn't do anything! I suspected it could be the mod itself but seeing as "Slice of Life" is so famous in the sims community and it previously worked two days ago I am completely at a loss.

I have attached some photos to show my folders incase ive completely missed something.

If anybody has any suggestions it would be deeply appreciated!

Did you get to the main menu screen? Do you have iCloud Drive enabled? Were your saves loading ok from when you started having the CC issue?

Why do you have so many options.ini files and localthumbcache.package files? You should only have one of each. Trash them all then launch your game and see if it works.

As it's a 3rd party content issue you should go to the creator for help but you could try moving out your Sims 4 folder to the desktop, launching the game then quitting so a new one is created then copy over the contents of your old Mods folder into the new Mods folder.

@Bluebellflora I really appreciate you trying to help, I did as you said and moved the sims 4 folder out and then launched the game and quit, but no new sims 4 folder has been created?

AHH I can't believe it! I must have not turned my icloud settings off correctly! Its working! Thankyou so much for taking the time to help me out. One more stupid question...does this mean I can never turn on icloud drive again?

You can if your internal storage isn't too full but once it starts filling up iCloud will only store in the cloud. I don't know what the minimum space left should be but even when you have iCloud Drive enabled your Mac stores a copy locally which is why the game can still see the files.
