Mods folder not creating
I am having trouble getting the mods folder to get set up. I hadn't played in a while and swtiched from Origin App to the EA Games App and it causedeverything to go haywire.
When I downloaded the game it created in Applications the EA Games Folder but did not create the The Sims 4 Folder and just uploaded the files: The Sims 4 (game file) and the Folder with The Sims 4 Packs (Shown in screenshot 1).
I read multiple places that said to start a game and then turn on the mods and close the game, restart the game, turning it on and off to get the Mods folder to create. I have tried this multiple times and nothing has happened. I have checked that I am playing on the most up to date version of mac program (Sequoia 15.1.1). I've lost all my game files and have to start over but I really want to be able to use my mods.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The game installation, BG + Packs folder, is nothing to do with whether your Mods folder is showing or not. Your Mods folder is in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder.
Rename that Sims 4 folder so the game creates a new one then launch the game, enable Mods then quit and relaunch. If you are prompted by the OS to allow the game/EA App access to the Documents folder or other reasonable locations on your Mac make sure you allow.
