mods showing up on list but not in game

hello, recently i had an issue with my icloud, which caused my mods to briefly disappear - they've all returned to the folder but aren't showing up in game anymore, only the list upon start-up. i fol...

    Thanks. That piece of CC, and any others in the same location, won't show in the game because they are not in the correct location for the game to read. All user data such as saves, Mods etc. needs to be in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder to properly load. In your case that would be:

    /Users/zmcgeesc/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4

    but you have the user data in two different locations that the game won't look in. First one is your iCloud Drive:

    /Users/zmcgeesc/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4

    and the second is your iCloud Archive from when you have previously disabled it:

    /Users/zmcgeesc/iCloud Drive (Archive)/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4

    If you're running low on internal storage and have iCloud Drive enabled with the Optimise Storage option checked, it will be pushing all data to the cloud (Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs). You need to free up space and disable iCloud Drive to get your game loading the user data properly. All the info is in that link I gave you.

those were my results, it asked for permissions to search my contacts, reminders, documents and i believe that's it.

    ooh i see, i followed all the steps of the tutorial and moved the mods to the right folder, and besides a few mod updates i missed, everything is working just fine! thanks so much for your help <3
