More Problems With EA App/The Sims 4

Hello,

I've been experiencing problems with the Sims 4 saying it was loaded in, even though it was not loaded in. That has been going on for two days now. And now, I seem to have come across a new issue that more or less has been caused due to the recent patch update. Please don't tell me it's not the reason or suggest a problem to fix it, because this is all I've been trying to do for the past two days since my game decided to stop working midplay. As of today, my latest problem has to do with the EA App itself. It would not let me try and repair the Sims 4, it reaches maybe 80% for the base game itself and then a message pops up telling me to try again later since the installation failed. I would also like to add that this is a brand new Macbook Pro, so I have plenty of storage so I don't think that's the issue either. I just want to be able to play my game and not feel like I've wasted my time or money because of how frequently problems occur. I understand y'all want to help and offer suggestions to fix the problem. But 95% of the time, the suggestions I receive are solutions I've already tried and nothing worked.
