more unexpected crashes

My game keeps crashing. I don't know what to do! I deleted some folders of mods that didn't work, hoping that it would stop the crashing. And it did for a while, but my game just crashed after I made an entire restaurant for the gallery and my sims. I came back and it was gone. I'm tired of my game crashing.  Ideas? I keep forgetting to click save after making big changes but I feel like if the game doesn't have an autosave feature, then I shouldn't have to click save after spending hours on a build just to make sure its still there when my game decides it hates my effort and deletes everything. Help please!

    theyyluv_vivi you shouldn't just delete "some folders of mods that didn't work", you should remove the entire Mods folder and trash the localthumbcache.package file to properly test whether your issue is caused by Mods. The better troubleshooting is to try a clean Sims 4 folder - [INSTRUCTIONS] How to troubleshoot and test a broken game | EA Forums - 11864548 Please do so, start a new save, rebuild a restaurant and save often. How is it?

    If Maxis ever add an autosave option it should be completely optional, not everyone wants autosave.

    I deleted the entire mods folder in the sims 4 folder, and further deleted everything in my trash, including folders of mods that are for packs I do not have with everything else related to mods. This happens just randomly. Last night It was more frequent, like 2-3 in the same hour as each other. I am going to find my downloaded things and delete any downloads that still exist.

    theyyluv_vivi the game doesn't look in the trash, no need to take such a drastic step. But you should ALWAYS delete the localthumbcache.package file when removing the Mods folder. Did you try the clean Sims 4 folder as per the link I provided?
