Is anyone else having this issue? My game will start up and I can do a few things, then the game will freeze, and the next thing I know the screen goes black and I am logged out of my macbook pro. Ive uninstalled then reinstalled both Origin and The Sims 4, I've repaired. I've tried moving the Mods and Tray folder out of the Sims 4 folder. Im not sure what else to do to get this to work.

Are you logged out of your Mac or does your Mac restart?

running on Ventura 13.4.1
When this happens I am just logged out of my mac and any application that was open needs to be opened again. So origin and The Sims 4 have to be re opened.

I have it on a lap desk. Yes I tried moving out the Sims 4 folder to desktop. Looks like when I restarted it, all of my old saves were gone. The game froze before I could even do anything.
Same thing happened. I made a new apple account on my mac and was able to play for a bit. It froze a few times but after waiting it out it resumed. Then it ended up quitting on me. Didn’t log me out but the game shut down.
