Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162
Are you logged out of your Mac or does your Mac restart?
Try a whole new Sims 4 folder - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163
Its a 13 in 2020 Macbook Pro
Processor: 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel core i5
Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB
running on Ventura 13.4.1
When this happens I am just logged out of my mac and any application that was open needs to be opened again. So origin and The Sims 4 have to be re opened.
- Im not sure what the legacy version is so I think its the normal version
- Ive not downloaded any antivirus onto this Macbook.
- Ive tried to repair in origin.
- I dont use any cc or mods.

Thanks. It sounds like the issue may be with your Mac, possibly overheating although it's strange it's logging out and not restarting. What surface is your Mac on when you play? Try lowering all the graphics options to the lowest possible and see if it still happens.
Did you try the new clean Sims 4 folder? I have it on a lap desk. Yes I tried moving out the Sims 4 folder to desktop. Looks like when I restarted it, all of my old saves were gone. The game froze before I could even do anything.

None of your saves and other content will load because it is all in the Sims 4 folder you moved (the link I provided explains this and why you've tried it).
Did your game just freeze or did your Mac logout again after doing this?
Try creating a new user account on your Mac and see if you can successfully play in that account. Same thing happened. I made a new apple account on my mac and was able to play for a bit. It froze a few times but after waiting it out it resumed. Then it ended up quitting on me. Didn’t log me out but the game shut down.

☹️
Could you look in the Sims 4 folder in that new account and see if there is a lastCrash.txt file in there. If there is, please copy and paste the contents here, taking out the XML in the first line.
