Move your Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop then try to launch your game - does it still hang/crash?

Yes, because all of your user data has been moved to the desktop. Did your game load?- 6 years ago
Why the hell didn’t you tell me that I would lose all my work from doing that?? Are you kidding? I never would have done that if I knew I would lose everything. It only loaded to the worlds and then when I try to click one , the screen goes white.

Huh? How have you lost everything? All your Saves/Mods etc. are in the Sims 4 folder you moved to your desktop. Unless you've now trashed that Sims 4 folder for some reason? And emptied the bin.
This may help you understand this basic troubleshooting step a bit better - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163
Your game will have loaded a new Sims 4 folder, which is what we want, free of all your saves and other user data. Have you managed to use CAS yet?
Are you still having to force shutdown your Mac when you get the white screen?
If you've been repeatedly force shutting down your Mac I would be inclined to take it to an Apple store, if you have one nearby, and have it checked out. It's not normal Mac behaviour and can cause damage.
Which version of macOS are you running?
