my Sims 4 won't save anything

i've never had technical difficulties with the sims before. i got the game in 2019, reset my mac in 2020 which got rid of the sims, and i then redownloaded it the other day. when i open the game and press the play button, it doesn't come up with my saved games and instead directs me to create a sim, when yesterday i already created and saved my household. i can't seem to load up my saved household that i created yesterday, nothing comes up that indicates i've saved anything when i saved the game multiple times when editing my house. i remember clicking 'Save As' and naming my household. i remember clicking 'Save' multiple times whilst editing the house

i've looked through my saves folder and there are many saves from yesterday as attatched

idk what to do helpp i just want to play my household that i spent hours on

also, in the screenshot it says that there are saves from previous 7 days, that's because this is the third time i've created a household and it doesn't come up on my game
