Solved

My Sims refuses to open after trying every solution

I added mods and it was working fine, until I added a certain mod and the game never reopened, I removed all mods and did repair and disabled Origin log in in game and it still refused to open. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game and it is still not opening. I am lost and don't know what to do anymore.

i had the same problem and i did that then it worked and after a couple mins i restarted my mac then the game wouldn't open again so i tried doing it again but it didn't work this time, pls help me.

I have this exact same problem. I have tried everything. Nothing new for my game except that I purchased two sims 4 kits on yesterday. I really am getting so frustrated with putting money into a game that is becoming more unplayable. I log into origin (Yes I uninstalled and went and downloaded a whole new updated version. I did the reset origin as well) and all I get after signing in is a blank white screen.

A blank white Origin screen is not the same as the game not opening due to an issue with the Sims 4 folder which the OP had. Your issue is an Origin problem. Please post in the Origin Mac forum https://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin-Mac-Client-Technical/bd-p/origin-technical-issues-en
