No sims 4 folder

So when I try and launch the sims 4 on my ea app, it says the sims 4 is already running (which it is not). I have done everything, reinstalled the EA app and the sims multiple times, cleared the cache, repaired the game, restarted my Mac and shut it down, checked activity monitor and other things which I lowkey forgot, but nothing is working. I keep seeing solutions on how to fix this problem, but they all have to do with the Sims 4 folder in electronic arts and documents, which I don't have for some reason. So I have tried reinstalling the game multiple times to get this folder, but I never got it. All I have is the sims 4 game, and Sims 4 packs. I have also tried moving my sims 4 game to applications but it just makes a duplicate and doesn't do anything!
