Not able to load recent save - Mac

Hi, so I had an issue tonight where my game will only load a save from a few months ago but not a save I've had going from this week... I tried every solution I could find, updated my computer, made sure the files were in the right place, and also repaired the game, but it's as if the file doesn't exist to the game. So I'm not really sure where to go from here... This also happened after I got an in-game error, but I deleted the save where the error occurred and was trying to load a save from earlier today, and nothing... It's completely deleted off my computer but not sure how to load the clean save.

The 123 error, yep, there's a bug report here for that - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/UNDER-INVESTIGATION-Game-Failed-to-Load-Error-Code-123/td-p/13898427

Were those the only results in Terminal?

I'm not only checking the saves are in the right place but if there are any in other places and also checking file names. None of those saves will load because macOS has appended numbers in the file name and they are all backups. Using the first one in the list as an example:

    Slot_00000009.save 54.ver1

The .ver1 at the end indicates it is a backup file of a save named Slot_00000009.save

The 54 has been added by the OS because at some point you've attempted to have two files with the same name in the same location. This can happen with iCloud/Google Drive/other types of cloud syncing when using multiple devices.

If you want to load that save the file name should be this for the game to read and load it:

    Slot_00000009.save

    What was the error message?

Please open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and copy and paste the following search command then hit Enter/Return:

    find ~ -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null

After a little while it will return the results of the search. You'll know when it's finished searching because the command prompt will reappear. Please copy and paste the results in a post here..

The error message was an issue that I see hasn't been resolved yet here on the forum. Essentially, when I went to "Thrift Tea" in game, it gave me an error stating that it wasn't compatible with game. This made it so I literally couldn't load the household I was trying to play. I thought deleting that save file where I went to Thrift Tea would fix the problem and I'd be able to revert, but now I can't load any saves from 2024.

I think you're attempting to make sure the save files are in the proper place and they are, I've read quite a few of your replies on the forum so I doublechecked to make sure they were in my documents folder and readable by the game, and they are.
