Objects disappear in build/buy mode

This is a new issue since the June 4, 2020 update. 

I've seen the comments about the Sharing is Caring N.A.P., I don't think that's what's causing this problem because items will disappear while I'm still in build/buy mode. Often objects will be invisible while I'm placing them, then reappear 2 minutes later. It seems to be a glitch. Has anyone experienced this or figured out what's causing it?
