Origin account showing SIMS expansion pack on sale. checkout issues

Has anyone else's ORIGIN account shown SIMS 4 expansion packs at 25% and 50% off yet when you click to purchase the full price is showing at checkout? 

I contacted an EA rep who said the sale has finished however the SALE price is still being shown in ORIGIN. They wouldn't honour the sale price for me which I think is pathetic as consumers are not at fault for this error and therefore shouldn't be penalised for it. Pretty annoyed as I was ready to purchase

    Hi @miz_ellie,

    Sorry for the confusion, from what you are describing, it could be your browser cache didn't update so you were still seeing the images of the sale on the website, even if the sale was over. ☹️

    I understand this is not a pleasant thing to discover once you start the checkout process, so let's try to avoid this from happening in the future - do you remember the sales page? If you scroll down, you will usually find the date in which the sale ends there.
