origin not opening

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Update your game, go in your game to enable cc and mods, exit the game, close origin, and then open it again.
What happens when the bug occurs? Origin immediately closes.
What do you expect to see? I expect Origin to open, and I expect me to be able to play the game without any malfunction.

Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated my game recently and when I went in my game to enable cc and mods, I exited the game, closed origin, restarted it, and it wouldn't open.
Hi, I have a problem with my Origin application. Basically, whenever I try to open origin it immediately closes, I don't even have the chance to log in. This happened recently when I attempted to update my Sims 4 game. I am using a Macbook air version 10.12.6. I've tried everything, I uninstalled origin and reinstalled it and it changed nothing. I also tried to erase all of origin's memory and reset it and I installed it again. But, when I tried to open it, a pop-up said something like: "$!% cannot be found." and the only option I had was to click, "OK". I also clicked on the sims 4 application and it came up with a pop-up like: "Oops! You do not have Origin installed and Origin is required to play the game. Please install origin." I uninstalled it and installed it again after that and it started immediately closing again. I also tried turning off firewall. I can't seem to find a solution. I guess something you should know is that I am running on very low disk space. I also tried to do something about that, I've uninstalled everything I didn't use much/need that I was able to uninstall. Anyway, if there is anything else you need to know, feel free to ask me.
