Playing Sims 4 Offline

Whenever I try to play the Sims 4 offline a message pops up saying I have been "offline for awhile," with the error code "EC:200." It then prompts me to sign in again to my EA account and reconnects me online. This happens each time i try to set my account to offline. How can this be fixed?
