Re: “Your download has been paused” - Help!

@Bluebellflora that's what I thought too! and all the solutions Ive looked for are for PC users haha, bought all legit off origin + a few expansions, no proxy or VPN. Had the game all installed and working about a year and a half ago and needed to uninstall to make room, its this time around that it been giving me issues

It really is a bit crazy! Is your user account on your Mac an administrator account? If so then try the following:

Back up your Sims 4 folder (just in case) then run the Origin reset tool, then trash the Origin app in your Applications window. Empty the trash, restart your Mac, then re-download and install Origin. Hopefully that may fix it.

If it isn’t an admin account then try updating through an admin account and see if that initiates the pop up.

I tried this: Back up your Sims 4 folder (just in case) then run the Origin reset tool, then trash the Origin app in your Applications window. Empty the trash, restart your Mac, then re-download and install Origin. Hopefully that may fix it.

    But it didn't fix it:c.
