Hi so I have 2025 MacBook Air I have sims with all the packs on it but I wanted to move my mods folder onto an external hardrive which I have; its a Toshiba 1 tb, i proportioned it and formatted it into Mac OS journal where I created the symbolick link to my documents folder etc but the game takes forever to load have I don't something wrong I have no idea what I'm doing.

    It will be the quality and speed of the drive. See the opening post of this thread I've merged your post into, there is a paragraph explaining about the importance of using a good hard drive.
