I play on Mac and my game won't launch at all. When I try to launch, minimises the EA app window and attempts to launch the game (the colour wheel comes up), and after almost a minute, Sims 4 doesn't open, and the EA app window is maximised. No error message is provided, it just goes back to the EA app homepage.
What's even more frustrating is that I was able to launch my game throughout the day yesterday with no issues whatsoever. This issue was present when I tried to open my game mere hours later, before 20:00 last night and I haven't been able to since.
I initially looked at solutions myself (EA app recovery, clear caches, empty my mods folder, repairing (and updating) my game, and updating my MacOS). None of this worked.
Today, I got in touch with EA advisors to get to the bottom of it, followed every single one of their troubleshooting tips (boot up my Mac in safe mode, uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app, launch my game in offline mode, disconnect from my wifi network, closing background apps, and more). I still cannot launch and play my game. I was then told to come here and try and find a solution, so any advice or help is truly appreciated.
Just to confirm, according to the EA advisors I spoke with, there are no issues on my account, and the issue I'm experiencing is completely related with the EA App.
