Nope. It may some 3rd party software installed causing it.
It may be an SMC issue whereby simply restarting your Mac might reset it.
You could reinstall the OS which would fix any corrupted files that may be causing it.
If you find the cause and a solution, please post back here as it will help others experiencing your issue 🙂 Hey! My girlfriend had the same problem with her M1 Macbook air. Did a few research and found this in a post from 2015 (I know it's old) and it work. The problem seems to be from the RETINA in-game option.
- Go to game settings
- Graphic settings
- Unclick RETINA
- Change back to full screen and select the right aspect ratio/resolution
Worked in few seconds, my girlfriend is happy and now I'm her hero.
PS. Going back to play Valorant now
