Do you have any CC installed? If so, remove the CC, restart your game and see if you can connect to the Gallery. You should be able to connect as the issue seems to be related to having CC installed.

im sorry whats a CC? Because im having the same problem. it just stays loading for ever.

CC is content that you download from the Internet: furniture, clothes, hair styles, mods...
CC is short hand for "Custom Content". It is usually items for the game that are made by third party creators for this game or any game. Normally, you can find it on fan sites or larger sites.
- Oh thanx. I have mods. But before I got them the gallery wasn't working either. I also have the problem that once in a while my sims 4 brings up the "game data incomplete", and my sims are missing equipment, like they're missing shoes or shirts and pants. Plzs Help!!
- I'm having this problem too. For me it specifically seems to be items of clothing, which is bizarre. Origin is online before booting the game, the game loads and runs fine, no issues displaying the CC but can't connect to the gallery. I'd removed a quarter of my female clothing CC and it's definitely a particular file, as I could then connect to the gallery. I'm just whittling it down now. This never happened before the last update.
Sadly their isn't any way for you to get the gallery on mac, I've tried several attempts and even called an online helper to try and fix the situation. Happy simming!
Maybe try taking away some mods and making sure your using secure websites to find your mods.!
