Admin user: iCloud Drive > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
Sims user: Samsung T5 > Sims folder > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
(Note: The folder called "Sims folder" on the T5 was created to remember this is where I wanted the game to go)

The Sims 4 folder has to be stored locally on the machine, not on the external. Do you also have the game installed in the 'Sims folder'? No, the game is installed on the SSD (set this up through Origin) but a different folder to the "Sims folder".
That's annoying as I read somewhere the whole game could be installed on the SSD with folders and everything as long as the "main storage" as I described above was set to the SSD itself. Hm ☹️

Not that I know of but if you have a link to where you read it I'd be interested to see how they did it 🙂
