I have not been able to save my Sims 4 game since downloading it onto my new laptop. It worked fine on my old laptop and I never had any real issues, but for some reason, it will not Save anything on the new laptop. It is a MacBook running OS 13.
When I launch the game it gives three options:
Create new sim
Gallery
Options
If I create a new sim and try to save it, it will be gone the next time I launch the game.
I cannot find a "Sims 4" file on my computer to see if there is anything in there causing an issue even though I have launched the game, I am wondering if this is because it will not save.
I have reinstalled Origin, repaired the game, and reinstalled the game and none of these things seem to help. There is no connection to Microsoft OneDrive.
Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

@EJGold5 Hello! The saved games are stored in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves. This is the same for Mac and PC / Windows laptops. Please check to make sure you have these folders. Also, even though there is no connection to OneDrive, you may need to make sure that your Mac is not automatically storing these folders on iCloud.
Edit: One more thing I just thought of ... when you say you try to save a sim, do you mean you are saving them from CAS? Or have you moved the sim into a house and then saved? Save files are only created once you've moved a sim into a house / lot and then saved from the menu.
