What happens if you simply click on Resume in the main menu?

Try a clean Sims 4 folder as described here - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163 Once the folder is recreated move one of your saves into the saves folder and see if it loads.

@Bluebellflora So I got to the saves that actually load up. When I press resume orange and green warning signs show up on all the houses.
