Hello,
I got a new MacBook Pro to replace my last one a few months ago. And all files were transfer over, and I can see them.
However, when I went today to access origin, I got the big push asking me to upgrade to EA. I did it. And my packs show up and it even says how many hours I've played the game. But my saves are not able to be accessed (even though I have those files). And I can still see the older files I had played with in the past, in Saves, but the EA app is not picking them up.
When I log into the EA app to play Sims, it asks me to play a New Game, which I don't want to start from scratch after years of curating worlds. You have any ideas on how I might be able to fix this? Much appreciated, Thank you

Thanks. Putting aside the modded saves because we need to get a clean game working first, none of those saves will load because they are not in the correct location. Your saves need to be directly in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves to load which yours are not. Yours are in an iCloud archive of your Documents folder. Move them to the correct location and they should load. Also, out of all of these results, only the following are actually saves, the ones ending in .verX are backups so no need to copy those over initially:
Slot_0000000b.save
Slot_0000000c.save
Slot_00000003.save
Slot_0000000a.save
This also applies to your Mods.
Merging into the iCloud master thread. If you need further help see the opening post on page 1.- 2 years ago@Bluebellflora So they are in the wrong spot? Will I also be able to get back my saved and mods because I don’t see them at all in my files. And thank you for your help.
