[READ FIRST] Saves, CC/Mods or Library items disappeared? iCloud issues

I have macbook air 2020, m1 chip with 2TB OF STORAGE. I had brought an external hard drive, but many told me it was slow, so i decided to just bite the bullet and pay for more icloud storage. Why does it take my game close to an hour to load up?? I've repaired the game, deleted the cache, and even deleted some of my mods.

How much storage is available on your internal drive? Your 2TB in iCloud is wasted as is having Optimise Mac Storage enabled which will render your game unplayable. For further explanation see the opening post on page 1 of this master thread.

      That's ok for now but keep an eye on it. If you insist on having Optimise Mac Storage enabled, the moment your internal storage is full iCloud will push the Documents folder to the cloud and your game will not work, for the reasons explained in the opening post.

        so whenever i download cc it goes to my icloud or on my hard drive? i just turned off optimize storage
