Please open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find / -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. You'll know when it's finished searching because the command prompt will reappear. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

This is what it pulled up:
find / -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver4 /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver3 /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver2 /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002 3.save /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004.save 2.ver0 /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 4.save /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002 2.save /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver0 /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 3.save /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver1 /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save 2.ver0 /System/Volumes/Data/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 2.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver4 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver3 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver2 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002 3.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004.save 2.ver0 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 4.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002 2.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver0 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 3.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver1 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save 2.ver0 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 2.save dennisnunnally@Denniss-MacBook-Air ~ %

Thanks. There is only one save that will load in that list. This is because loadable saves begin with Slot_ then eight numbers/letters and end .save:
/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save
These are backups of that save:
/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver4 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver3 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver2 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver0 /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save.ver1
These are duplicate files of that save that the operating system has created at some point because you cannot have files with the same name in the same folder so it has added a number (bold):
/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002 3.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002 2.save
This is a duplicate backup of that save, again the operating system has added a number:
/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save 2.ver0
This is a different save but will not load because again it is a duplicate. You can tell because of the extra number in the save file (bold):
/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 4.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 3.save /Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004 2.save
And this is a duplicate backup of that save:
/Users/dennisnunnally/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000004.save 2.ver0
