Hi, so i was downloading mods today as the game was updating, because i thought why not. but then, when i logged back in, the game just completely reset. I have no idea how it happened, i talked to ea support and there was no help. i have no idea what to do, and ive reinstalled the game and everything. i usually have no issues with the place i get mods from (the sims resource)

Hi,
I've been searching for solutions to my issue for days but was unable to find anything that could help me. I allowed my documents and files to be stored in iCloud a few days ago. When I attempted to move them back onto my local drive, several of my mods, saves, and tray files disappeared during the migration process for some reason. There are still mods, saves, and tray files in my game up until march-may 2024, but everything after that has seemed to have disappeared. I've looked everywhere on my mac, ,including the iCloud drive, and even tried data recovery but I'm still unable to find them. I turned off optimization and freed storage as well. If there's anything you could recconemend to help me i'd greatly appreaciate it.

Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and copy and paste the following search command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null
If prompted to allow Terminal access to various locations on your Mac and drives, click Allow. After a little while it will return the results of the search. You'll know when it's finished searching because the command prompt will reappear. Please copy and paste the results in a post here..
