I am also having the same issue were my load game button has disappeared.
I am using a Apple Mac and have checked my folders and my saves folder is in the Sims 4 folder and no other new folders have been created.
I also save my games during and at the very end when I exit the game.
My gallery is still there however it will only give me the option to start a new game which is super frustating.

Hello, I have a MacBook Pro 2017 running IOS Ventura 13.7.3. I have been using this to play the Sims 4 for almost a year now. The last time I played was in October of 2024. Fast forward to now, I played The Sims 4 for an entire day with exponential progress: new builds, new Sims, Etc. At the end of that session, I saved and closed the game as normal and didn't get any error messages. Today, I opened the game to play my last saved file, only to find out that my progress hasn't saved, but somehow the game recognized that I saved it because the save file time and date was the last time I played. Confusing right? When I loaded the Game, It was just how it was back in October of 2024. No changes that Ive made were saved... Even though the Load file had the correct time and date I saved. Usually I can find help online from users who've had similar common issue, But this one I cant find any help with. Please tell me someone has an expertise with this. I really need help before I just give up The Sims completely.
edit: I understand that this may not be the proper thread for this issue, But if someone has any expertise on this matter, can you post a helpful reply under this topic. I would greatly appreciate it.
