I just did the latest game update. Now I went to open my sims game and my saved game is gone! Also in the bottom corner by the version number it says SDK:UNKNOWN.
I have already:
Cleared the app cache
repaired the game
uninstalled both the EA app and The Sims 4 and reinstalled
Removed Mods
Created a new user profile on my MAC
Did a computer software update.
Contacted Ea 3 times.
I need help! I can see my last saved game file in my saves folder! Why won't it load!! Thanks!!
My game loads but my saved game is gone! I posted about it because I don't want to restart!!

The SDK [UNKNOWN] is irrelevant to your saves etc not loading.

Thanks, for me it might be an issues with me getting rid of iCloud. I was able to find everything.
However, it's now on my external drive and computer. It was only originally on by drive.
Currently have this as well. My Mods and Saves won't load either. Did yours disappear?
I had to go through my mods one at a time and reinstall some mods!!
Excuse me, I have the same problem with my Mac. But I'd like to know what's going on, because I can't access my CCs, they don't work anymore.
I've had the same problem for 3/4 days, next to my version number I have ( UNKNOWN) and my CC's no longer work, no longer display. But in the options, everything is activated so that they appear. I've deleted and updated my mods, I've deleted the game but to no avail. Still the same problem
The SDK [UNKNOWN] has absolutely nothing to do with your CC not working. Please stop posting in other unrelated threads with your CC issue. If you require help you need to fully detail exactly what the problem is and what you have done to try and fix it. Posting a screenshot of your Mods folder would help with the file path clearly visible at the bottom of the Finder window.
Ok first of all sorry for posting and/or replying in the wrong topic. I'm a bit desperate and tired of the situation which is dragging on a bit. But if I have to be clear actually I have the (SDK: UNKNOW) and my CC's are not working, my CC's are filed in the mods folder and I have them listed by folders. I'm French, I hope my English is understandable. Also, as I pointed out, all my lights are green in the other section, so I've really turned everything on and off. I made the last update of my mac. None of the CCs work, either for the sims' appearance or for house decoration.
the same thing happened to me with "SDK:UNKNOWN." I'm on macbook and was able to find my saves in my trash-- even though I don't know how I could have accidentally deleted them. My mods were gone and I had to reinstall them. But now only build mode and CAS items cc work. No interactive cc or sim customizing cc (height slider, hip slider, etc.) work. I keep clearing cache and repairing but idk how to fix it :(
