So i updated my mac to tahoe 26 (the september 2025 ios update) and now my games files arent even being read. It just shows as files with question marks over them. When i opened the game it said there was an unrecognized video card but I fixed that. Ive fixed the graphics drivers and now it says it can find and support them. I also uninstalled the game and repaired it twice. I play with mods but Ive taken out the entire folder and its still doing this. It caused me to lose my over 2 years played save which pissed me off but now I just want to play the game and be done with it.

You don't have a graphics driver problem, ignore that error message. It has no bearing on the functionality of the game and is a warning, not an actual issue.
Can you please post a full screenshot from Finder showing all files in the Sims 4 folder with the file path clearly visible at the bottom.
How did you lose your saves?
