so i kinda caused a chaos on my mac, and long story short, i had to turn off my icloud drive 'desktop & documents folders' which was where my sims 4 folder was at. so now, my new sims 4 folder is in my local documents. i replaced my mods, saves and trays there, but, when i opened the game, it load me to a new game. my original loaded saved game wasn't there. however, my ccs/mods showed up. i did try to copy the whole folder (from the icloud) to the new one (in the local documents), but it still didn't work
and i don't know if this is useful, but my households did show up in my tray importer
note: i couldn't use the icloud one anymore because my sims 4 application won't open again
i'm thinking it's game over, but i decided to post here if anyone have any ideas how to fix it

yea, i was heartbroken cause i was attached with this household of mine. but i've been attempting to think positively and thought maybe it's a better sign for me to do other things cause i've spent so long fixing my game than playing it every time and it just waste my whole day 😭
another note: the "chaos" i meant was that my storage suddenly jumped so high and i had to fix it, which ended up to me deleting "sessions" deep in my library folder - jyunpiter31 days agoSeasoned Newcomer
OKAY! i somehow managed to fix it, so i'm gonna put it here in case anyone ever run to the same problem as me :) open your apple bar, click 'go' and 'go to folder...' to your user folder. go to your library. if your library doesn't show up, right click an empty space and click 'show view options' and enable show library. your actual last sims 4 current file will be hiding in the icloud archives. so then, just copy your mods, saves, and trays to your current sims 4 folder
