is there a way to copy and paste or move the electronic arts folder onto a local documents folder while icloud syncing desktop and documents is on? someone else mentioned if u keep it on and download sims 4 it’ll move locally but even then will it still show my saves? not sure what to do but i need icloud syncing on but dont know how to make the games read my saves with it on and i dont think its about storage and i’m not even sure how to check if it is storage

System Settings > General. Scroll down to the bottom and you can see the Storage info.

No because you're syncing the local Documents folder.

The game installation is nothing to do with the location of the Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder. Either whatever you're referring to is misinformation or you're properly understanding.
Why do you need iCloud Drive syncing your Documents & Desktop folders? Is it because you are using multiple Apple devices to access files and folders in the Documents and Desktop folders? Or is it because you have no storage left on your Mac. Or is it because you think you should have it on? Maybe we can come up with another solution for whatever your reasoning is so you can disable the syncing.
