Saved game appears in folder but not in game - Mac

I have not played The Sims 4 in a while and after having started a new game yesterday --AND SAVING--, I am unable to recover that same game today. Older saved games are appearing at startup, but not...

Also too check to make sure that your saved games are not being saved to the Cloud and are being saved to your hard drive. I know that sometimes when you update your OS, it may switch your options.
