Sims 4 Always Crashes at Launch from Origin

Ever since the patch came out, my Sims 4 game always crashes at launch.

- I always repair the game before launching it from origin.

- I have moved my sims 4 folder out onto my desktop, with a different folder name, and launched it again and still doesn't work - even when it creates a new Sims 4 folder.

- I have turned off automatic origin updates and automatic sims 4 updates.

- i have made sure the iCloud is not interfering with Sims 4 launch.

- I have taken all my Mods and CC out, launch the game, and it still crashes.

- I have 16gb ram on my MacBook Pro (8gb+8gb) and it should run the game.

- I don't yet own Snowy Escape.

I don't know what to do anymore because I remember when the patch came out before Snowy Escape's public release and I was able to launch the game, save and reopen the game well. And now after Friday 13th, the game won't launch past the Sims 4 logo (see video attached in profile).

Help.
