sims 4 crashing + ui color glitch

okay so after cottage living came out, my sims 4 has been crashing mid-game. it's not right when i open it, it happens randomly, maybe an hour or two hours into gameplay. the only time it didn't happ...

  • Operating System (Version): MacOS Big Sur 11.2
  • Mac model: MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
  • Processor: Apple M1
  • Memory (RAM): 8 GB
  • Graphics: Apple M1 (that's what it said in system report)

  • Are you attempting to play the normal version of the game or the Legacy Edition? 
  • normal version
  • Are you running any antivirus? 
  • no
  • Have you tried to repair the game in Origin? Right click on the game in My Games and select Repair Game.

  • Do you use CC/Mods? If so, have you tried removing them and seeing if that fixes your problem?
  • yes, but for the crashing glitch i can't tell considering it happens randomly and can take over an hour of gameplay for it to crash. ui glitch was solved by taking out ui cheats extension.

    thank u so much!! i didnt realize i had vsync disabled!! i updated big sur and turned it on, thank you again!
