SIMS 4 DOESN'T RUN ON MACOS SONOMA
Since updating my mac to MACOS Sonoma 14.7.1 in November 2024, my Sims 4 no longer runs.
When attempting to open it through the EA app, it just bounces, I get the spinny wheel of doom and then I have to force quit as nothing happens.
I have the error report that my MAC shows after and following other advice I have done the following:
- Restarted my MAC
- Deleted the Sims 4 and reinstalled
- Deleted and reinstalled the EA app
- Ensured the Sims and EA app have full access in my files in 'system settings > privacy'
- Repaired the simss app in the EA app
Can anyone help? I've attached a screenshot of the report from EA!

Does it still happen with none of your current user data in the new Sims 4 folder?
