Does it still happen with none of your current user data in the new Sims 4 folder?
I put Sims 4 folder on my desktop but still have the same problem. But in the link you also sent I saw to reset the EA app and is it meant to remove all the folders that are in the Sims 4 folder to remove them all? You mean this? Because I haven't played that long and I don't quite understand this yet. I play on my sister's Mac computer. I don't understand the Mac computer. 😅 I'm not very familiar with Apple. 😅

You can ignore the EA App reset for now.
Did a new Sims 4 folder recreate in Documents > Electronic Arts when you tried to relaunch the game? If so, please can you post a screenshot of the files and folders that recreated.
Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Files & Folders. Is the Sims 4 game in the list and does it have access to the Documents folder or Full Disk Access?- 6 months ago
Yes, when I reinstalled the app, a new folder was created. I can't take a picture because I'm at work. I'll post a picture tonight. And see if the app has access to these folders.

Thanks. Have you switched languages in your game? You have a German Sims 4 folder and an English one. Which folder has the most recently modified files by date?
