Sims 4 game keeps freezing on MacBook
Hi! I was recently playing a new save file when my game started freezing up constantly. I mean like every 2-3 minutes playing. It's getting really frustrating, especially because I don't want to miss the Get Famous trial. I do play with cc, but very few mods. I even took out my mods folder, but that did no good. I deleted the save that the bugging started on. my game had only crashed/freezed once before and I've been playing for about a year.

Thanks for your visit to the forums and sorry to hear that you're having issues with The Sims 4 on your Mac.
Can you please check if the following steps do something for you?
- Close Origin + the game
- Open the directory of the Mods folder of the game and move the Mods folder out of the directory, onto your desktop (so the Mods folder is gone from the directory of the Sims)
- Open Origin again and repair the game: right-click on the game tile of The Sims 4 in Origin, choose Repair game
- Check if the game works again
