Sims 4 gameplay wont load
I recently bought a new 2022 macbook air, and having had sims work perfectly on my previous laptop, downloaded and started playing. No matter what i try my game never loads once i enter gameplay mode...

I don't need to see a video. When you say you tried the clean folder a couple of times, did you move any of your saves, mods or any other files from the original folder into the new one? When you first renamed/moved the Sims 4 folder how far into the loading process did the game get?

I moved the sims 4 folder to my desktop, and let ea create a new folder as i opened the game. It was the same point where as soon as i load into the world the screen stops moving, although sound continues to play as if the game were still going, and i didnt get to adding in any saves or mods.
As far as external displays im just using my laptop.- @lilabilly
Hmm. Are you running any antivirus or any monitoring type of software?
Could you set up a new user account on your Mac and see if the game loads properly in that account. You shouldn't have to install EA App and the game because the default install location is the system Applications folder which makes the apps available to all users.As far as I'm aware I'm not but i can have deeper look.
I tried the new account and it stopped at the same point again. It was with the same icloud account but I shouldn't think that had anything to do with it.
