Sims 4 is not launching for me. When I'm pressing the play button in the EA app the sims 4 icon is popping up, but it's not launching the game, was waiting hours to launch and nothing happened. Tried to reinstall both the app and sims 4, but still not working. I have several mods, but checked all of them and they are all updated. I never had problem with this before. Had thousand and thousands mods, and now cannot even have a single one as the game is not launching. With Origin everything was so much easier. I also tried to give full access for the ea app and the game too.If anyone has any solutions I would be thankful as I paid lots of money for the packs .

Now, theres nothing to delete and I don't know what to do.

Have you found a solution? This has happened to me before and both times I tried EVERYTHINGGGG. The last time it happened what finally worked was deleting absolutely everything on my computer that I had downloaded or screenshotted and it magically opened. Now, theres nothing to delete and I don't know what to do.

MacBook Air is the 2017 model, the iMac is the 2021 one. macOS version is Sequoia 15.3.1 in both.
Atm the game works again but I had to “repair” it before trying to launch it.

The 2021 model iMac has the ARM chip which is currently causing issues. See this thread - [TROUBLESHOOTING] Sims 4 Crashing since 1/14/25 Update | EA Forums - 11007810

Updating to Sequoia 15.3.1 has fixed the issue for some. It would be really interesting to see if reinstalling Sequoia fixes it for you as you are already running 15.3.1. You can do this by downloading the Sequoia installer from the Mac App Store and running it. It doesn't wipe your Mac, it simply reinstalls the OS over the top of your existing installation, fixing any corrupted files, broken links etc. But you should do a backup anyway as good practice.

Has anyone found a solution my game has always worked well then I just bought a new MacBook Air recently and now doing same thing click play and loads and loads and never does anything!
